The body was removed from the frame and repainted in black during refurbishment in 2012 and 2013, which also included rust repair in the cab corners. Nicks and other imperfections are noted in the finish, and the paintwork is shown in detail in the gallery below. The bed was rebuilt with replacement hardware and oak planks.
